Way to go Cards.

It's that time of year for our big FUNdraiser!!!

What: The Hit-a-Thon is a fun team event, where the players try and hit as many balls as they can out of the ten strikes they receive. Each ball player needs to solicit donations from friends, family, neighbors, etc. Donations can be either a flat amount (example: $100) or an amount per hit (example: $10 per hit).

When & Where: Saturday, June 2, 2018. Coaches have been sent the schedule and will update parents.

Why: To raise money to defray the cost to run the league and to keep the registration fees reasonable.

PRIZES INCLUDE:
Grand prize, to the individual ball player that raises the most money. Your choice: Four tickets to a Seattle Mariners home game and overnight accommodations in Seattle. OR SF Giants home game plus overnight accommodations in SF.

Second prize is a Zepp Baseball swing analyzer and App

Team prize to the Lincoln team that raises the most money = Superplay bowling and pizza party for the entire team

Individual award winners to the ball player that raises the most money on his or her team, a $25 Amazon gift card

How: 99Pledges will collect the donations. Each player has been sent their own link by 99Pledges and can make direct donations from there.

What else is going on that day: Team Picture Day, a free pancake breakfast, concessions after breakfast and Lincoln team apparel sales - all at the same location as the Hit-a-Thon!

Many people don't realize the costs associated with providing affordable organized baseball and softball to kids in the Portland area. We partner with Portland Parks & Rec. (PPR), however, we still have to budget for ~$50,000 per year to maintain 10 school fields and 8 PPR fields.
